Hi all,

looking for some assistance in manipulating weapons attributes.
What i want to do is to balance the new weapons a bit more. Everyone who runs cust. mod still know the custom weapons from Blops2/ MW3 and/or all later versions are slightly overpowered.

Therefore i just want to manipulate: range, damage,recoil,accuracy,rate of fire and mobility.
I run an OW Mod - and many month ago - i read an article regarding mismatches between accuracy and swaying (e.g. sniper rifles) . In result it comes up that is too difficult to manipulate those setting without causing more troubles.

So here comes my question. Is someone expirenced in making these setting without troubles (hitbox issues)?
For exapmle to try out a simple attribute change for weapon range at Sniper rifles.

@ HolyMoly, do you know the issue regarding sway for sniper rifles in OW Mod? Or is all fine and i do make to many thoughts on it?

Hello there... if you want i can convert your wepon files back into gdt's if you want for easier edit them in asset menager....

in the weaponms_mp file for the sniper look for sway and lerp and adssway etc open it ith noptepad ++ hold ctrl and f and type ads in the search box scroll through them till you find the sway settings theres hipsway and i think its called adssway and adslerp but it has been a long time bud

in the ow source code look in weaonss/nosway and compare notes bud ;)
